Eurbaleen Sullivan Davenport, age 86, of Kevil, Kentucky, formerly of Wickliffe, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

Eurbaleen was born in Wickliffe on December 26, 1937 to the late Eurbin and Sara Lou “Johnie” Sullivan.  She was a member of Grace Valley Baptist Church.  Eurbaleen was known as a caregiver to everyone in her life.  She loved to help others, no matter the circumstances and was the person to call whenever you were in need.  She never missed an opportunity to be with her grandchildren and enjoyed volunteering at school for special event, parties and performances.  Eurbaleen loved to be around children so much that many of her grandchildren’s friends endearingly referred to her as “Mammie”.  She was never one to turn down a good conversation and was known to “work the crowd” every Sunday before church services began.  When she was younger, Eurbaleen and her husband loved to be outside, often working in their flower and vegetable gardens and taking care of their yard.  She will be remembered for the love and care she showed to her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Eurbaleen is survived by her daughter, Anissa (Ken) Johnson of Kevil; a sister, Charlotte Fraser of Wickliffe; five grandchildren, Channing (Jennifer) Davenport of Mayfield, Ashley (Ben) Venegonia of Springfield, Illinois, Shawn Johnson of Kevil, Crystal Thompson of Paducah, and Johnathan Thompson of Paducah; five great-grandchildren, Hunter Davenport, Kaden Venegonia, Graham Venegonia, Braegan Anthony, and Braelei Anthony; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Davenport; a son, Rickey Davenport; a brother, Colie C. Sullivan; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Pastor Glen Crowe officiating.  Burial will follow at Wickliffe City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the service time of 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Ballard Memorial High School Band, in c/o Nolan Case, 3561 Paducah Rd., Barlow, KY 42024
