Mike Hibner, 63 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, Kentucky.
Mike was born in Michigan City, Indiana on January 14, 1961 to William and Norma Hibner. He worked as a technician for Premier Fire & Security. Mike enjoyed being outdoors working in his yard, fishing and was known to his neighbors as “Mr. Fix It”. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family. Mike was a member of Journey Church in Murray, Kentucky.
He is survived by his fiancé, Lisa Johnson of Benton, KY; three sons, Adam Hibner of Freetown, IN, Phillip “Phil” Hibner of Sadieville, KY and Nathan “Nate” Hibner (Jamie) of Bedford, IN; daughter, Christina Gill of Benton, KY; his mother, Norma Jean Mahlka Hibner of Michigan City, IN; one sister, Joyce Gillespie (David) of Valparaiso, IN; four grandchildren, Kadence “Kady” Rumple, Sophia Rumple, Wyatt Hibner, Greyson Hibner; and his two dogs, Clyde and Clover.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Marshall Hibner.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home with Jarrod Martin officiating.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home located at 211 West 5th, Benton, Kentucky.
