On 06/01/2024, Kerry Tremper age 53 of Benton KY, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Marshall Circuit Court for the charge of failure to appear in court.
On 06/02/2024, Kelvin Ham age 53 of Benton KY, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Marshall District Court for the charge of failure to appear for court. A search warrant was also conducted on the residence occupied by Mr. Ham and deputies located drugs and evidence in violation of his current court orders. Deputies charged him with violation of a KY EPO/DVO, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, prescription controlled substance not in proper container and possession of controlled substance 1st degree (Opiates).
On 06/01/2024, Marshall County Sheriff’s office Detectives along with Calloway County Sheriff’s Office Detectives located a vehicle in the Benton Walmart parking lot being operated by a Antonio Hogard, (29) of Martin TN. The vehicle was also occupied by Katilyn Evans, (24) of Martin TN. Detectives located numerous Fentanyl pills and marijuana. Both subjects were arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st offense (Fentanyl) and possession of marijuana.
On 05/24/2024, James Ligon age 25 of Calvert City KY, was arrested on a criminal complaint warrant charging him with criminal abuse 2nd degree child 12 or under. This case is being investigated by the Marshall County Sheriff’s office.
On 05/25/2024, Dillion Nicholas age 25 of Gilbertsville KY, was arrested and charged with public intoxication (controlled substances) when he was located on a property in Gilbertsville and was refusing to leave.
On 05/28/2024, Brent McKinney age 48 of Dawson Springs KY, was arrested when the vehicle that he was operating was stopped on US 62 in Calvert City. McKinney was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree, prescription not in proper container, possession of marijuana, and other traffic offenses. Then passenger in the vehicle, Dustin Ausborn, age 32 of Madisonville KY, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
On 05/24/2024, Travis Dunn age 34 of Benton KY, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to produce insurance when it was discovered that Dunn had struck a sign belonging to Pleasant Hope Missionary Church and fled the scene.
On 05/23/2024, Dwane Garner age 58 of Benton KY, was charged with assault 4th degree.
On 05/28/2024, Jacob Does age 39 of Gilbertsville KY, was arrested on a criminal complaint warrant issued out of Marshall District Court for the charge of Criminal Mischief 1st degree. Marshall County sheriffs office investigated this case and requested the warrant when it was discovered that Does went to a neighbors yard and used Does’ vehicle to cause damage to the neighbors yard and tree.
On 05/28/2024, Charles West age 68 of Benton, was arrested on a warrant issued out of Calloway District Court for the charges of failure to appear for court.
On 05/28/2024, Kevin Goff age 30 of Tiline KY, was arrested on a criminal complaint warrant issued out of Livingston district court for the charge of assault 4th degree.
