On 2/19/2024, Travis Thorpe age 33 of Benton KY, was charged with Fleeing evading police 1st degree (on foot), menacing, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest when deputies attempted to make contact with Thorpe to serve an outstanding warrant. When deputies made contact with Thorpe as he exited his vehicle at a residence. Thorpe then fled on foot from deputies, running in to a residence. Thorpe was armed with a knife and refused comply with Deputies orders to drop the weapon. After a short standoff Thorpe agreed to drop the knife but still resisted arrest. Thorpe was taken into custody and lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
On 2/18/2024, Chad King age 45 of Benton KY, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Calloway District Court for the charge of failure to pay fines.
On 2/17/2024, Raymond Ryles age 46 of Benton KY, was arrested and charged with Stalking 1st degree, violation of KY EPO and harassing communications.
On 2/17/2024, Chasity Vied age 43 of Hardin KY, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Graves District Court for failure to appear.
On 2/16/2024, Lori Blades age 52 of Gilbertsville KY, was arrested on two bench warrants issued out of Marshall Circuit Court for the charges of bond revocation.
