Fatal Collision claims life of Paducah resident.

A McCracken County man was killed in a single vehicle collision on Monday afternoon. At approximately 4:40 PM, Paducah 911 received a 911 call regarding a collision in the 7400 block of Cairo Road.

When McCracken County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived, they discovered a truck with heavy damage in a field. An adult male operator had been ejected from the vehicle. The male had incapacitating injuries and was transported by Mercy Regional Ambulance to a local hospital.

During the preliminary investigation, it was determined the involved vehicle was traveling South on Cairo Road, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a tree, rolled over more than once, struck two other trees, and came to rest in a field. McCracken County Deputies are continuing to investigate the single vehicle collision.
