The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men on drug
charges following a drug investigation Thursday afternoon.
On 02/01/2024 detectives made a controlled Methamphetamine purchase
from 32-year-old Bryan Cook in McCracken County. Cook was stopped and
arrested on Schneidman Road during a traffic stop just after 4pm.
During the investigation, detectives seized approximately 54 grams of
Crystal Methamphetamine, Marijuana, a bulletproof vest, money believed
to be proceeds of illicit drug sales, and assorted drug paraphernalia.
In a separate investigation, narcotics detectives conducted a traffic
stop on a vehicle at 6:21pm at the intersection of Lone Oak and
Highland Boulevard. During the stop, detectives conducted a probable
cause search of the vehicle and located 605 grams of Crystal
Methamphetamine and assorted drug paraphernalia. Detectives arrested
28-year-old Joseph Tyree, a passenger in the vehicle, in connection
with the drugs.
Joseph Tyree was on felony probation at the time of his arrest for
drug trafficking.
Both Bryan Cook and Joseph Tyree were lodged in the McCracken County
Region Jail.
This investigation led two additional arrests in Christian County, KY
and the seizure of additional Methamphetamine, thousands of Fentanyl
pills, and a handgun.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted in this investigation by the
Christian County Sheriff’s Office and the Marshall County Sheriff’s
Office.
Arrested: Bryan D. Cook, 32, of Woodville Road (McCracken County)
Charges: Trafficking in a Methamphetamine, possession of Marijuana,
and possession of drug paraphernalia
Arrested: Joseph M. Tyree, 28, of Azalea Circle (Paducah)
Charges: Trafficking in Methamphetamine 2nd or subsequent offense and
possession of drug paraphernalia
