Mrs. Mary Josephine Thweatt, age 89 of Benton, Kentucky died on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving is her husband, Billy Thweatt of Benton, KY, son, Gary Thweatt (Connie) of Benton, KY, daughters, Joyce Adair (Allen) of Benton, KY and Renita Hite (David) of Lavergne, TN, brother, James Harrell (Charlotte) of Benton, KY, sister, Nora Stone of Benton, KY, sister-in-law, Beverly Harrell of Benton, KY, 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Euckley and Helen (Darnall) Harrell, sister, Ruby Harrell, brother, Randell Harrell and brother-in-law Johnny Stone.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Mike Littrell officiating.
Interment will follow in the New Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Collier Funeral Home.
