Paula Sue Mundy, age 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 1:08 A.M. Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Baptist Health Louisville.
Paula was born in Paducah on Sunday, October 17, 1954 to Johnny and Della Mundy. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, during her years in Paducah. She enjoyed traveling, playing golf, spending time at the beach, and both water and snow skiing. She worked as a nurse and spent time with hospice care. She loved animals, and after retirement, worked with animal adoption.
Miss Mundy is survived by her father, Johnny Wilkes Mundy of Paducah; her brother, Jack Mundy (Jackie) of Paducah; her nieces, Julie Jessee (Tom), Ronna Martin, Maddison Shumaker (Ryan); her nephew, Brad Mundy; several great nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law, Judy Mundy.
Miss Mundy was preceded in death by her mother, Della B. Carpenter Mundy; her brother, Ron Mundy.
Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 P.M. Friday, December 22, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah, with Rev. Katie McKown officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. Friday, December 22, 2023 at the funeral home.
