Virginia Lee Henderson Villines, age 92, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Marshall County Hospital.
Virginia was born in Paducah on May 5, 1931 to Elmer and Clara Henderson. She worked for the Department of Agriculture as an Inspector and was a member of Oak Level Methodist Church. Virginia stayed very active into the later years of her life and cherished every moment she spent surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved having family gatherings, where she would cook for those she loved and enjoy a few card games.
Virginia is survived by one daughter, Barbara Blagg of Benton; seven grandchildren, Guy Blagg, Darren Villines, Todd Blagg, Matthew Blagg, Jordon Villines, and Kinsey Smith; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Villines; three sons, Roy Villines, William H. Villines III, and William Chris Villines; three brothers, Joe Carl Henderson, Harry Don Henderson, and Elmer Leon Henderson Jr.; one sister, Helen Ruth Baker; one granddaughter, Christy Grissom; and her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Mathis officiating.
The visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Collier Funeral Home.
