Calvert City Pickleball players went to Jackson, Tenn. to participate in the Fall Hub City Pickleball Tournament September 15-17. This was a round robin format with teams competing in Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. There was some very tough competition at this tournament. Some events were scheduled to play to 21 which made for long days. Four of our teams went undefeated throughout their matches. Kayla Travis and Cameron Brown only lost one match in their 4.0 Mixed Doubles pool play but came back in the finals and beat that team to win gold. There were 223 entries playing on 12 courts. Twenty players from far Western Kentucky brought home 17 medals – 11 Gold and 6 Bronze.
