Mr. Adair was a chairman of the deacons at Cuba Baptist Church. He also took great pride in teaching Sunday school and enjoyed delivering food for the food bank. Jack was an avid hunter of pheasant and deer. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. Jack was a retired employee from General Tire and Rubber Company and enjoyed many years farming as well.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nelda Heath Adair; one son, Tony (Melissa) Adair of Murray, KY; one daughter, Dana Adair of Farmington, KY; one grandson, Jesse (Christy) Page of Pryorsburg, KY; one great-granddaughter, Hannah Page also survives.
Jack was preceded in death by his grandson Jon Micheal Adair as well as his parents Gentry and Clessie Ford Adair.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at the Cuba Baptist Church in Cuba, KY. Rev. Vinnie Jackson and Rev. Gary Heath will officiate. Interment will follow in the Cuba Baptist Church Cemetery. Rick Rhodes, Bobby Canter, Jesse Page, Ed Moreland, Randy Heath, and Danny Hendley Will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday September 19, 2023 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY and from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Wednesday September 20, 2023 at the Cuba Baptist Church.
