Ronnie Calhoun, 82, of Grand Rivers, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.
Ronnie was born on June 23, 1941 in Trigg County, Kentucky to the late Troy “Dave” Calhoun and Marie Ford Calhoun. Before retiring, he spent many years working as a teacher for the Livingston County School District with the most recent position being held at Livingston Central High School. Ronnie loved collecting a variety of different antiques including glassware as well as coins from all around the world. He would always take any opportunity that he had to travel to different places. Traveling became such a passion of his and that he was eventually able to say that he had visited every country with the exception of two. Ronnie attended St. Peters of the Lakes Church.
Ronnie is survived by his two nieces, Dena Calhoun Driskill (Dale) and Stacy Calhoun Wright (Rodney) both of Grand Rivers, Kentucky; and one sister-in-law, Keeta Calhoun of Grand Rivers, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Lonnie Hay; and his parents.
