Modean Driver, 93 of Calvert City, KY passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Marshall Co. Hospital in Benton, KY.
Born Thursday, November 14, 1929 in Obion County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Chester Paul Davis and the late Bessie (Allen) Davis. She was the wife of the late Robert Driver.
Modean was the cafeteria supervisor at Calvert City Elementary and North Marshall Middle Schools. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed being able to stay home to take care of her four grandchildren. She was a proud member of Calvert City Church of Christ for 73 years.
She is survived by her son, Dennis Driver wife Sandra of Benton, KY; grandchildren, Brent Driver, Andrea Livingston, Wesley Cunningham, Scott Cunningham; and great grandchildren, Hayes Driver, Bennett Driver and Jackson Livingston.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Robert E. Driver; daughter, Peggy Cunningham; half brother, Richard Davis; and sister, Juanita Morse.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in the Chapel of Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025 with Lance Cordle and Jared Green officiating.
Burial will follow at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens in Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Collier Funeral Home.
