James Henry Freece, 80 of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Parkview Nursing & Rehab in Paducah, Kentucky.
James was born in Evansville, Indiana on June 7, 1943 to the late Harold Freece and Iona Daughtery Freece. He proudly served our country in the United States Army and was self-employed as a meat distributor. James was also an ordained minister who loved spreading God’s word. His granddaughter, Evie, was his world and he absolutely adored her.
He is survived by two sons, Joe Freece (Blair) of Calvert City, KY and Jimmy Freece (Sandy) of Augusta, GA; two grandchildren, Austin Sparks and Evie Freece.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jerry Freece.
