Marsha Lynn Thomas, 66, of Calvert City, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at her place of residence.
Marsha was born to the late Raymond and Mildred Thomas on January 27, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a stay at home mom who loved raising and caring for her children. She also had a love for helping everyone around her and always made sure the neighborhood kids would have gifts. She also enjoyed raising and caring for her dogs, chickens, and pot belly pigs. Marsha also loved fishing and playing bingo in her free time.
Marsha is survived by her two sons; Louie Thomas and Joseph Joyce, both of Calvert City; four grandchildren, Jenna Joyce, Amandalyn Thomas Agan, Joseph M. Thomas, and Charles Duncan; and three great grandchildren, Avery Nicole Reed, Elizabeth Agan, and Caroline Agan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lee Joyce; one sister, Sharon Larka; and two brothers, Eddie Thomas and Ray Thomas.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky 42025.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky 42025. Bro. Mac Walls will officiate and burial will follow at Calvert City Cemetery.
