A Georgia man is accused of backing a U-Haul truck into a Kuttawa business, leaving the scene and leading deputies on a low-speed chase into Livingston County.

According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, 41-year-old Marleo Farmer-Davis of Sandy Springs was driving the U-Haul truck Friday night when it hit the business on Days Inn Drive.

Farmer-Davis reportedly fled the scene after being stopped by the management of the business.

A Lyon County deputy caught up with the truck on Interstate 24 but said the driver refused to stop, then allegedly led the deputy on a low-speed chase into Livingston County before being arrested.

Farmer-Davis was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and fleeing/evading police. He was taken to the Crittenden County Detention Center.
