
William L. Holloway, Jr., age 70, of Paducah, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023 in Chesapeake, Ohio with his son and daughter.
William was born in Princeton on May 17, 1953 to William Holloway, Sr. and Margaret Stallins Veling. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy and Army, was a Kentucky Colonel and worked as a Locomotive Engineer for Illinois Central Railroad. He was a member of the Theodore Roosevelt Association, the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and Shepard’s Chapel Church.
William is survived by two sons, Jonathan Boyd (Samantha) of Chesapeake, Ohio, Freddie Holloway of Paducah; one daughter, Kelly Gilbert (Terry) of Paducah; one sister, Diann Holloway of Princeton; his father, William Holloway, Sr. and his beloved service dog, Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Penny Holloway and his mother, Margaret Veling.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. at Norman Cemetery in Fredonia, Kentucky with Pastor Brady Wynn officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
