Mrs. Novella “Sue” Burkeen, age 61, of Mayfield passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at her residence.
She was of the Christian faith and a childcare provider.
Mrs. Burkeen is survived by her husband, Steve Burkeen; two brothers, Randy (Trish) Cope and Gary (Donna) Davis both of Mayfield, KY; and one sister, Gaytha (Jim) Hendricks of Huntsville, AL.
She was preceded in death by her son, Brent Burkeen; one sister, Debra Smith; one brother, Glen Davis; and her parents, Henry Leon and Ethleen Miller Cope.
Funeral services for Mrs. Novella “Sue” Burkeen will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Chase Gregory and Rev. Mark Terhune will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gary Davis, Randy Cope, Tyson Powell, Keith Hamlin, James Allen Davis and Tim Riley.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
