“Mama” Fran Elaine Blue Conley, 79, of Mayfield, KY peacefully passed away at home on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 7:05 AM.
She was a retired U.S.D.A. Food Inspector, a thirty year Girl Scout Leader and a member of the United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Conley is survived by her husband- “Papa” Don E. Conley of Mayfield, KY; her four daughters- Jody (Dennis) Martin of Sioux City, IA; Penny Parks of Mayfield, KY; Belinda (Richard) Counts of Highland, IL; Crystal (Jordan) Gourley of Mayfield, KY; two sons- Robert Conley of Ozark, MO; Curtis (Billie) Horsley, Jr. “C.J.” of New Concord, KY and 9 grandchildren: Summer, Christine, Paige, Colleen, Elijah, Robert, Jr., Edmond (Brandy), Jessica, Amanda and 17 great grandchildren: Cameron, Cole, Jace, JaeLynn, Savannah, Matthew J., Hayden, Caleb, Keagan, Camden, Marlowe, Levi, Addie, John, Matthew, Alicia, Nathan also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl J. and Viola Ann Blue- son, Curtis L. Horsley, Sr. (Marcia).
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 3:00 PM at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY with the Rev. Joel Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Obion Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Pallbearers will be Dr. Rev. Joey Reed, Shane Gregory, Mike Blanton, RJ Fair, Edmond Cruse and Darrell Champy. Honorary pallbearers will be: Edward Conley, Sr., Kenneth Smith, Jerry Griffith and Wes Woodcock.
