Lady Marshals track team competes at Carterville Invitational

Georgia Hall broke her own school record in the discus on Saturday at the Carterville Invitational with a throw of 118-10.

Members of the Lady Marshals track and field team competed on Saturday in the Carterville Invitational at Carterville High School in Illinois. The team recorded 21 top 10 results including a new school record in discus. Senior Georgia Hall, who already held the school record in the discus event, broke her own record with a throw of 118-10.

Another first for the team came in shot put when junior Bailey Allred recorded a throw of 31-9.

The team is back in competition on Saturday in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
