Randi Smith Owen, 75, of Benton passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center after complications from her breast cancer treatments.
Randi was born on June 22, 1947 in New Canaan, CT and moved to Benton with her family in the late fifties. She enjoyed reading, lunching with friends and spending time on Kentucky Lake. She could always be counted on for her wit and charm. She worked in the hospitality industry for over 25 years as a hostess. She greeted customers with the brightest smile and the gift of gab.
Randi was a member of Calvert City United Methodist Church. She was known for her caring heart and generous spirit. She touched so many lives…those who knew her and loved her will always remember her. More than anything else, she was a devoted mother who cherished raising her three children in Marshall County.
She is survived by her daughter Amber Owen (Tommy Biddle) of Wellington, Florida and two sons, Jody Owen (Jessica) of Gaungzhou, China and Jay Owen of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gerreth Smith, mother Lanoma Smith Beals and stepfather George Beals.
