Mr. Zach Helm, age 25 of Calvert City, Kentucky died on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at his home. He was a 2015 graduate of Marshall County High School and obtained his associate’s degree at Ivy Tech. He was a member of the Millwright’s Local 1076.
Zach was a young man who lived big and loved big. He loved all things outdoors – hunting, fishing, boating, and camping. He loved his dog, and he loved his friends. Most of all, he loved his family. “Uncle Zachy” had a special relationship with his nieces and nephews and never failed to make them smile. Zach could fix anything, was generous to everyone, and always put others before himself. Zach had a smile and laugh that could light up the room. He was so important to so many. He was a devoted grandson, a loving son, a loyal brother, a sweet nephew, a doting uncle, the fun cousin, and an amazing friend.
Surviving are his parents, Chad Ralph Helm and Valerie Jo (O’Nan) Helm of Benton, KY. brother, Alexander Reeves, wife Lauren of Sabetha, KS, sister, Alexis Utley, husband Logan of Benton, KY, and 4 nieces.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, Kentucky 42025 with Rev. Trad York officiating.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Collier Funeral Home.
