Carol French Nelson of Benton, Kentucky, formerly of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on August 31, 2022 at the age of 53.
She was born on September 23, 1968 to Harry George “Pete” French and Norma Beatrice Gray French. She worked for Paducah Head Start and several daycares throughout her time.
She quite enjoyed working in her flower beds and watching hummingbirds. She loved spending time with her family as her children were her life.
She is survived by husband, Dennis Nelson; daughter Breanna Nelson (Andrew Smith); son, Darron Nelson (Keelie Mathis); adopted son, Chandler Green (Cassidy); stepdaughter, Trista McElwayne (Chris); brother, John Jones (Diane); sister, Ruth Gray Sinks ( Ronald “Bud”); two aunts, Mary Hall and Ruby English; uncle, William Roy “Bill” Gray and three grandchildren, Landen, Linlee and Dominic.
