The Marshall County Special Olympics held their 5th Annual Golf Scramble on Saturday, August 13, at Kentucky Dam Village State Golf Course. Twenty-five teams participated to support the delegation and raised over $13,000.

The Special Olympics organization would like to thank those who participated, donated and volunteered for this event.

A check was presented from Gatorade National Boys Track & Field Athlete of the Year, Cade Flatt, in the amount of $1,000. Flatt chose Marshall County Special Olympics as the non-profit organization to receive the grant through Gatorade. The funds will be used to purchase much needed track uniforms.
