On 06/20/2022, at approximately 12 PM, McCracken County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the complaint of a sexual assault. The 13 year old victim told deputies that she was sexually assaulted by a 17 year male. The male was an acquaintance of the victim.
Detectives located the male at the residence and transported him to the Sheriff’s Department for an interview. During the course of the interview, detectives obtained a confession from the suspect. The male suspect was charged with Sexual Abuse 1st Degree and lodged at the McCracken County Regional Detention Facility.
