Charley Pursley earned a selection to the Class 3A All-State 2nd Team. Charley, who is headed to Austin Peay State University to play softball, was also named to the East/West All-Star roster and the games are scheduled for June 17-19 at South Warren High School in Bowling Green.
She finished her senior season with a team-leading batting average of .547, led the Lady Marshals in hits with 59 and in doubles with 11. Charley was third in RBIs with 29 and first in stolen bases with 37 which ranked her 16th in the state.
Charley leaves the program with three records including the single-season batting average of .547, single-season stolen bases with 50 in 2021 and career stolen bases with 128. She was selected twice to the All-District, All-Region, East/West All-Star roster and All-State teams.
