Elena Blevins, executive director of the Kentucky Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Blevins says a lot of good things are happening and it’s shaping up to be a good tourist season here in the lakes area. She says with gas prices higher, it actually might benefit our area since people might not be traveling as far away from home and might very well make the lakes area their vacation destination. And she reminds you that the 400-Mile-Yard-Sale is coming up starting June 2nd along Hwy 68. Find out more about what’s going on in the lakes area by going to www.visitkylake.com.
