Kye Babcock signed on Wednesday to continue her academic career as an archer at the University of Pikeville. Kye has been shooting archery for four years, three of those with the Marshall County archery team and this past season as a solo high school student. She has participated in various tournaments around the Midwest where she has honed her skills.
The University of Pikeville is the only college in Kentucky with an archery program. Kye plans on majoring in psychology. The University of Pikeville competes in the Mid-South Conference.
Kye was joined by members of her family, friends, band members, coaches and teachers.
