Ren’e L Dowdy Marler, 73, died Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 6:39 pm at Baptist Health Paducah in Paducah, KY. She attended Benton High School in Marshall County. Ren’e also studied at Murray State University where she completed a Bachelor and Master’s degree in counselling and social work. She retired from the Kentucky Juvenile Justice Department.
Survivors include 4 sons, J. Shawn Dowdy (Melissa), W. Shane Dowdy (Candace), Jeremy H. Dowdy (Bette), Josh B. Dowdy (Kara); one brother, Mitch Donaldson; 13 grandchildren, Brynleigh Dowdy , Taylor Hastings, Tyler Hastings, Blake Dowdy, Colson Dowdy, Kaiser Dowdy, Braylen Dowdy, Jade Dowdy , Caleb Dowdy , Madison Dowdy, Westley Jones , Zach Price, Caiden Combs; 1 great grandson, Kie Maverick Wayne Dowdy.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. Earl W. Donaldson and Geraldine Donaldson
