Halle Langhi signs with Murray State University Women’s Basketball

Joining Halle at her signing on Tuesday were her parents Dan and Emily and brother Matthew.

Halle Langhi signed on Tuesday at Marshall County High School to continue her basketball and academic career at Murray State University. Halle joins a Murray State Racers team that had one of its best seasons in recent history, finishing 22-10 and reaching the WNIT.

Murray State is coached by former Lady Marshal player Rechelle Turner. Halle will join former teammate Cayson Conner who recently finished her freshman season. Murray State will be joining the Missouri Valley Conference beginning July 1.

Halle leaves behind an accomplished legacy as a member of the Lady Marshals. This includes two trips to the KHSAA Girls’ State Tournament and in 2021, finished state runner-up. She was named 2022 KABC Region 1 Player of the Year, Miss Kentucky Basketball candidate and Third-Team All-State by the Louisville Courier-Journal.

A two-sport athlete, Halle also excelled on the volleyball court. She averaged 4.5 kills per game, good for top 20 in the state, and led the team in service aces.

In her five years on the basketball court, Halle scored 1,645 career points, an average of 13.2 per game. She totaled 978 rebounds for a career average of 7.8 per game. In her senior season, Halle averaged 15.5 points per game, 7.4 rebounds per game, her field goal percentage was 52.2 and she had a free throw percentage of 78.3.

Halle was joined at her signing by members of her family, friends, coaches and the Lady Marshals basketball team.
