Ms. Martha Bell Harris, age 82, of Mayfield passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her residence.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and a retired 40 year employee of Green Acres Healthcare.
Ms. Harris is survived by two sons, Thomas Legens and Russell Legens both of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Jeanette Turner of Mayfield, KY; one daughter-in-law, Rhonda Ray of Murray, KY; one brother, Jim Gurley of Gary, IN; six grandchildren, Josh Workman, Zachary Lee, Anthony Turner, Andrew Turner, Heather Legens and Cody Legens; and five great grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Dominic Workman, Gracelynn Turner, Brady Smith and Cooper Turner.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Gurley and Robert Gurley; one sister, Bessie Patterson; and her parents, Tom Gurley and Mildred Sadler.
A Celebration of Life service for Ms. Martha Bell Harris will be 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
