Charles “Charlie” Alexander. 84 , of Calvert City, KY, formerly of Grand Rivers, KY passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Crittenden County Health and Rehab Center.
Charles was born on April 27, 1937 in Ilsley, KY to the late Norman and Audrey Alexander. His family eventually moved to Evansville, IN where he was raised and started working from a very young age. For most of his life, he worked for himself doing construction work and remodeling homes. He eventually moved to Grand Rivers, KY where he married his wife Sandra Harvey Alexander. Charlie and his wife enjoyed going fishing and traveled all over the world to fish in different areas.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Alexander; one daughter, Stacy Alexander of FL; one son, Chris Alexander of IN; one stepdaughter, Amber Blades (Perry) of KY; one stepson, Cameron Williams (Karen) of TN; one sister, Betty Snow of TX; four grandchildren, Taylor Alexander, Joseph Blades, Carter Blades, and Lily Blades; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr with Bro. Mark Gill officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
