Born Thursday, July 4, 1929 in Graves Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Fred Alexander and the late Opal (Swaner) Alexander.
Surviving are sons, Martin D. Clapp of West Paducah, KY, Jimmy Clapp of Benton, KY, Dennis Clapp of Madisonville, KY, sister, Emma Joyce Coursey of Benton, KY, grandchildren, Steven Clapp, Chelsea Roden, Lacey McKeel, Michael Clapp, Devin Clapp, Todd Anderson, Khrista Solomon, Blake Dunkley, Amber Jackson, Kylie Sedberry, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Emery Leon Clapp.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025.
Interment will follow in Mt. Olive United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pryorsburg, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
