Mr. Wendell Ramage, age 85, of Mayfield passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Green Acres Healthcare in Mayfield, KY.
He was a member and Deacon at High Point Baptist Church, a former treasurer and Sunday School Director and a retired employee of I. S. P. in Calvert City, KY.
Mr. Ramage is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ladonna Jones Ramage; two sons, Rick (Margaret) Ramage of York, PA and David (Melody) Ramage of Parrish, FL; one daughter, Kathy Ramage (Keith) Haygood of Mayfield, KY; two sisters, Phyllis Dublin and Jane (Bill) Lowe both of Hickory, KY; one sister-in-law, Linda Ramage of Mayfield, KY; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Ramage; one brother, Wayne Ramage; one brother-in-law, Pete Dublin; and his parents, Elton R. and Rosalie Markey Ramage.
Funeral services for Mr. Wendell Ramage will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Darrick Holloman and Rev. Charlie Simmons will officiate. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shayne Ramage, Shawn Ramage, Greg Johnson, Cody Ramage, John Mark Lowe and Jared Donaldson. Deacons at High Point Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
