Betty Jo Rankin, 88, of Boaz passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at her residence.
Betty was a homemaker and member of Hardmoney Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and going out to eat.
Surviving are her four children, Lynn Pressler, Teague (Mary) Doggett, Mary (Joe) Doughty, Paul (Rhonda) Doggett; one brother; four sisters; seven grandchildren, Stacy Allen, Kim Smith, Jamie Followay, Cara Schierbaum, Jaqui Skinner, Cheryl Nickell, Josh Doggett; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Alberta Housman; one sister; two brothers; her first husband, Elmer Teague Doggett; her second husband, Thomas Rankin; and one son, Eddie Followay.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Lindsey Funeral Home with Bro. Farris officiating. Burial will follow at Hardmoney Baptist Church Cemetery.
Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Wednesday at the funeral home.
