
A native of Tiline, Kentucky, Mrs. Morris was born April 29, 1938 to the late John David and Nellie (Guess) Anglin. She was a retired school bus driver for the Livingston County Board of Education and a member of Grand Rivers Baptist Church and Lake City Quilters Club..
She is survived by on son, Joseph Morris (Joy) of Monroe, North Carolina; two daughters, Rebecca Morris (Elaine Lee) of Grand Rivers, and Sandy Seymore (James), of Nettleton, Mississippi; five grandchildren, Mandy Jo Ramos, Patricia Morris, Kayla Springfield, Lyndsee Riley, and Belinda Belk; and ten great-grandchildren, Khloe Bledsoe, Teonna Springfield, Reina Springfield, Leland Springfield, Kruze Gruber, Joshua Ramos, Dylan Ramos, Kalab Ramos, Conner Stevens, and Seth Ramos.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Chalmer Morris; four brothers, Huse Anglin, Kenneth Anglin, Cecil Anglin, and Henly Anglin; and five sisters, Sue Mitchell, Lurine Spiker, Marie Puckett, Dorothy Banks, and Deen Kuhr.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West Fifth Street, Benton, Kentucky, with the Rev. Duane Holland and Pastor LaRita Horton officiating. Interment will follow in Paradise Cemetery in Livingston County.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 21st, 2021 at the funeral home.
