James was born on April 4, 1932 in Marshall County to the late Marvin and Estelle Holley Culp. He worked as a millwright and carpenter for the Local 357 where he retired from. James enjoyed fishing, gardening, doing yard work, and visiting with his neighbors. He was a member of Briensburg Church of Christ.
James is survived by his son, James Mitchell “Mitch” Culp (Melissa); two grandchildren, Madison Culp and Maggie Culp; and his long time friend and companion, Ethel Mae Hendrickson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Kendra Gale Culp; two brothers, Thurman Eugene Culp and Joseph W Culp.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
A graveside service will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the McNatt section of Marshall County Memory Gardens with Bro. Gary Bloomingburg officiating.
