Bro. Charles “C.W.” Jackson, 81, of Mayfield passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at his residence.
He was a member and retired pastor of New Home Baptist Church, a member of Masonic Lodge #382 in Farmington, KY and a retired employee of General Tire.
Bro. Jackson is survived by one son, William (Suzanne) Jackson of Mayfield, KY; two daughters, Christy (Danny Joe) Cook of Mayfield, KY and Lisa (Joel) Skaggs of Lowes, KY; one brother, Larry (Florence) Jackson of Tennessee; two sisters, Charlotte (Billy) Dublin of Mayfield, KY and Martha (Dan) Lugo of Texas; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Gargus Jackson; two sisters, Peggy Clapp and Nancy Isbell; one granddaughter, Casey Skaggs; and his parents, Coley and Hattie McFadden Jackson.
Funeral services for Bro. Charles “C.W.” Jackson will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Masonic Rites will be conducted by Masonic Lodge # 382. Rev. Howard Copeland will officiate. Entombment will follow at Highland Park Mausoleum.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the funeral home.
