Toy Hilton Humphrey, 75, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 9:11 Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Baptist Health of Paducah. He was born on June 1, 1946 in Paducah to the late Toy Humphrey and Dorothy Rose Humphrey. Toy was a retired boilermaker for the Illinois Central gulf Railroad. He was a member of East Baptist Church and the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Union. Toy proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received two Purple Heart Medals and the Bronze Star Medal. He was a avid University of Kentucky sports fan and enjoyed both basketball and football and playing golf.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sharon L. Stokes Humphrey; two sons, David (J.J.) Humphrey of Paducah, KY and Joshua (Amber) Humphrey of West Paducah, KY; brother, Tommy Humphrey of Paducah, KY; five grandchildren, Dylan (Brooke) Humphrey, Tori Humphrey, Laylah Humphrey, Brooke Humphrey, Cooper Humphrey and several nieces and nephews.

Toy was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Richards and Jane Sanderson; brother, Leroy Humphrey and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Brady Wynn officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
