Debbie was born on February 5, 1972 in Miami, Florida to J.C. Burgess and Carol Downs Burgess. She enjoyed being outside and spent her free time camping, exploring Land Between the Lakes, and fishing on Kentucky Lake. Debbie was a God-fearing woman that will be remembered for her kind soul and passionate heart. Her children and grandchildren brought her the most joy in life, she cherished any time she got to spend surrounded by those she loved.
Debbie is survived by four children, Paris Burgess of Graves County, Julie Burgess of Murray, Cody Burgess of Benton, and Daniel Burgess of Texas; her father, J.C. Burgess; four sisters, Suzy Arnold, Jennifer Burgess, Marsha Sines, and Patricia Burgess; one brother, Jason Burgess; and 13 grandchildren, Kalub Burgess, Jakub Burgess, Kira Burgess, Tristen Burgess, Isabella Burgess, Cayden Burgess, Lillian Burgess, Avelyn Burgess, Danielle Burgess, Alan Burgess, Ayden Burgess, Aaron Burgess, DJ Burgess.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Burgess and one nephew, Jerry “Bubba” Arnold Jr.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on October 6, 2021 at Lakeview Cemetery in Calvert City.
