Fred was born on July 18, 1941 to the late Fredric K. Robishaw, Jr. and Bernice Bricknell Robishaw. He was the owner and operator of Mr. Fred’s Wholesale where he sold goods at local flea markets including Peddler’s Mall in Murray and Trader’s Mall in Reidland. Fred made many friends and acquaintances through his business. He was an extremely talented musician who was able to play numerous instruments. Fred also loved to fish in his free time and was a big fan of the Chicago Blackhawk’s hockey team.
Fred is survived by his daughter, Karen Robishaw McMullen (David) of Oak Lawn, Illinois; son Fred K. Robishaw, IV (Rose) of Valparaiso, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Nick, Tim, Sebastian, Joey, Mason and Ethan; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery in Oak Lawn, Illinois at a later date.
