JT was born on February 8, 1933 in Calloway County, Shilo Community, to Herbert and Alice Arnold Todd. He was a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Coldwater, KY and was a used car dealer for 65 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 66 years, Barbara Tomme Todd; three brothers, Calvin, Kenneth, Howard Todd and one sister, Hilda (Hollis) Wade.
Those he lovingly leaves behind include four children, Laura Slocumb and husband Jim of Williamsburg, VA, Kathy Todd of Murray, Joe Todd and wife Judy of Murray, James Todd and wife Heather of Murray; four grandchildren, Jeri Balzer, John Todd and wife Melissa, Carle Todd, Riley Todd; six great grandchildren, Sierra Fry, Andrew “Bubbie” Balzer V, Payton Mathis, Kaeli Mathis, Jacob Todd, Jayce Todd and one great great grandchild, Bentley Bostic.
The funeral service honoring Mr. JT Todd is set for 10 AM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray. Larry Cardwell and Tom Fortner will officiate and burial will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.
His family welcomes visitors from 5 PM – 8 PM on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Imes Funeral Home.
