Lady Marshals repeat as KGCA All State Champions

Winning the KGCA All State Championship for the second straight year, the Lady Marshals with their championship trophies (L-R) Katie Roberts, Cecelia Ray, Megan Hertter, Savannah Howell, Trinity Beth and Coach Aaron Beth.

The Lady Marshals successfully defended the 2020 KGCA All State Championship, winning two-day tournament again this weekend at the University Club of Kentucky (Big Blue and Wildcat courses). With a team score of 620, they beat Madison Central by two strokes to take the win. Last year the Lady Marshals won by 32 strokes over South Warren.

Individual Medalist honors went to Trinity Beth who finished at 1-over par (71-73), winning on the third playoff hole over Isabella Wiley from Shelby County.

Individual scores behind Beth – Savannah Howell +10 (T11th), Megan Hertter +13 (T21st), Cecelia Ray +27 (49th), Katie Roberts +30 (T55).

Following a match on Tuesday at Murray Country Club, the Lady Marshals will play in the First Region Tournament on September 27 at Murray Country Club.

Trinity Beth won the individual title at the KGCA All State Championship in Lexington after a three-hole playoff.
