Susie Marrie Wyrick Webb, age 91, of Bardwell, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at her residence.
Susie was born in Bruceton, Tennessee on October 21, 1929 to the late James and Effie Bell Bilbrey Wyrick. She was a member of Mississippi Baptist Church as well as the Red Hat Society and the Order of The Eastern Star #485. Susie loved music, especially Elvis. She even volunteered her free time playing in the Carlisle County Senior Citizens “Kitchen Band”. Susie also loved to read as well as embroider and sew. She would often hand sew special hats for cancer patients in need. Susie had the most amazing collection of unique salt and pepper shakers that she had grown over the years. She was a family woman first and for most. Susie loved her whole family big and would do anything for anyone in need.
Susie is survived by her two daughters, Mary Ann Walker of Bardwell and Lisa Dennis (Chuck) of Wickliffe; five sons, Marty Webb of McKinney, Texas, Duke Webb (Lisa) of Cocoa Beach, Florida, Darryl Webb of Bardwell, Kenny Webb (Dorothy) of Clinton and Mark Webb (Sadie) of Lakeland, Tennessee; 42 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Webb; four sons, James Webb, Jr., Harry Webb, Jack Webb and Larry Webb; one sister, Lessie May Teams; two brothers, James and Loyd Wyrick; and her parents.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Roselawn Cemetery in Bardwell with Bro. Shane Davenport officiating. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
