Carolyn R. Butler, age 72, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 2:36 P.M. Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Carolyn was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on Thursday, December 9, 1948 to Thomas and Phyllis Milan. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring sister, who will be remembered for her dedication to her family. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Mrs. Butler is survived by her husband of 50 years, Michael R. Butler; her five children Autumn Jones (Jim) of Brookings, South Dakota, Michael Butler of Brookings, South Dakota, William Kerkstra of New Jersey, Michele Mursten (Scott) of Winter Springs, Florida, and Joel Butler (Sarah) of Jacksonville, Florida; her sister, Sheila Marie Milan Erasmus (David) of Chicago, Illinois; her three brothers, Terry Milan (Pat) of Lowes, Kentucky, Barry Milan, of Chicago, Illinois, Tommy Milan (Kim) of Ledbetter, Kentucky; as well as eight grandchildren.

Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas B. Milan and Phyllis Jean Dennis Milan; her brother, Jimmy Milan.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes with Bro. Shane Davenport officiating. Burial will follow at Cunningham Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the Lone Oak Chapel.
