Arwood Smith, 86 of Benton, KY died on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at his residence.
Born Sunday, September 2, 1934 in Graves County, KY, he was the son of the late Rudy Smith and the late Ina Pearl (Rose) Smith.
He retired from BF Goodrich where he was a Lab Tech and was a lifetime member of the NRA and the American Checker Federation.
He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Dunn husband Mark of Benton, KY, Sharon Smith (Stacey McClain) of Hermitage, TN; grandchildren, Dustin Dunn wife Chassity of Benton, KY, Carson Dunn wife Ashley of Mooresville, NC; great grandchildren, Tyler Dunn, Kannon Dunn, Alex Dunn, Reese Dunn; niece, Linda Gagleard of Michigan; and nephew, Kevin Smith of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Verna Jane (Houser) Smith; son, Steven Smith; and brothers, Wavel Smith, Arvel Smith, Marvin Smith and Forrest Smith.
