Mr. Bobby Lee Thorn, 75 of Benton, Kentucky, died Friday, August 20th, 2021 at Lake Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Thorn was a native of Marshall County, Kentucky and a retired Iron Worker and a member of Local 782. He was a member of Dexter Pentecostal Church and a former member of Alford Masonic Lodge No. 925.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Lovett) Thorn; one step-son, Darryl Tubbs, Martin, Tennessee; one step-daughter, Donna Adams, Martin, Tennessee; two sisters, Janice McGregor, Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Mary Keats, Dover, Tennessee; four step-grandchildren, Kadence Tubbs, Hannah Krauss, Corey Tolley, and Scott Tubbs, and one step great-grandchild, Danny Lee.
Mr. Thorn was preceded in death by his parents, Carlie and Grace (Lee) Thorn; four brothers, Edwin “Dub” Thorn, Jerry Wayne Thorn, Billy Joe Thorn, and William Thorn; one sister, Nell Collins; one step-son, Dwain Tubbs; and one step-grandson, Mitchell Tolley.
A family memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
