Mrs. Reba Charlene Legate, age 94, of the Cuba community passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at her residence.
She was a member of Lynnville Church of Christ and a retired employee of Henry I. Seigel.
Mrs. Legate is survived by one son, Steve (Laura) Legate of Sedalia, KY; three daughters, Jo (Ronnie) Tibbs of Dukedom, TN, Marilyn (Kenneth) McCormack of Mayfield, KY and Anita (Rex) Canter of Mayfield, KY; five grandchildren, Kevin McCormack, Kris McCormack, Chad Tibbs, Becky Canter and Alysha Taylor; and five great grandchildren, Kylie McCormack, Blaze Tibbs, Swade Tibbs, Hazin Tibbs and Leo Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Legate; three sisters; one brother; and her parents John C. and Pearl Bruce Darnell.
Funeral services for Mrs. Reba Charlene Legate will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Mykel Tidwell and Shannon Seaton will officiate. Interment will follow at Cuba Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chad Tibbs, Kevin McCormack, Kris McCormack, Becky Canter, Mike Darnell, Phil Legate, Phil Holloway and Vernon McCree. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Spann, Will Bell, Zak Taylor, Chris Gray, Jimmie Tidwell and James Crosslin.
Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2021 at the funeral
