Master Gardener Barbara Ray joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. One thing Barbara reminds us is to grow plants that are indigenous to this area. She says it is tempting when we see some beautiful plants that are grown in other parts of the country, but often times those plants will not thrive in our zone. The Annual Master Gardener Plant Sale will be Saturday, May 15th at the Marshall County Extension Office on old Mayfield Highway, at the bypass in Benton.
