Jack Winfred Thompson, age 87, of Benton, KY, died Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. Thompson was a retired accountant at GAF in Calvert City, former math teacher, and former principal at Gilbertsville School.
He was the son of the late Ceil Thompson and the late Pauline (Barnes) McGregor Thompson. He was also preceded in death by his wife Barbara Kay (Filbeck) Thompson.
He is survived by two daughters: Jackie Stermon of Gilbertsville, KY and Jennifer May of Dothan, AL; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. There are no services scheduled for Mr. Thompson.
